New partnership to establish hydrogen project in Belgium
The advantage of many upcoming offshore wind turbines in Belgium must be seized, according to a new consortium that plans to build a hydrogen facility and draw upon offshore wind power when demand is low.
In the near future, the waters close to Belgium's shores will be filled with offshore wind turbines, which the Port of Oostende, developer DEME and financing firm PMV all plan to take advantage of.
