Partners give up on building Vineyard on time

A discouraging update from US authorities has project Vineyard Wind, to be established by CIP and Avangrid, giving up on valuable deadline.

The USA's first large-scale offshore wind farm won't enter operation in 2022. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Avangrid Renewables have given up on completing the first phase of Vineyard Wind within the planned timeframe, Vineyard informs in a statement.
