Siemens Gamesa opens new wind market

With a new wind farm, the turbine maker aims to expand the total power-generating capacity of an East African country by nearly 50 percent.

Wind OEM Siemens Gamesa and four consortium partners announce their first project in Djibouti in the Horn of Africa, marking two milestones for the turbine maker: its presence in 100 countries and the installation of 100 GW.
