NKT dissatisfied with lower-voltage segment

The cable producer is "not at all satisfied" with the development of its business within lower-voltage products that ought to be booming. If it can successfully improve these margins, NKT might then consider expansions and acquisitions.

Overall, 2019 was a weak year for NKT. However, whereas much has been accomplished in recent years in overcoming the cable company's challenges in securing major high-voltage contracts, the Applications division, covering low-to-medium-voltage transmission lines, put a particular strain on the annual report's figures.
