First monopile at Denmark's biggest offshore wind farm hits seabed

The first foundation of Vattenfall's offshore wind farm, Kriegers Flak, in the Baltic Sea is now in place. Installation work is expected to continue into the autumn, with wind turbines set up in 2021.

The first foundation for Vattenfall's offshore wind farm Kriegers Flak, located 15-40 kilometers off the Danish coast, is now placed on the Baltic seabed, the Swedish utility informs in a media release.
