Corona delays Siemens Gamesa-equipped project

An oil company suspends the ongoing construction of a wind farm rated at roughly 200 MW by up to two years and at the same time reconsiders plans to extend the facility.

In February, Siemens Gamesa received an order for 45 model SG 4.5-145 units for wind project Forty Mile. The 205 MW were supposed to enter operation next year, but the OEM will now have to accept going a few further miles than originally planned. The project's owner, oil company Suncor, has decided to postpone building by up "up to two years."
