Siemens Gamesa customer to acquire Senvion scraps

According to local media, a conglomerate buys the German turbine maker's subsidiary in India, which thereby stands to gain a new player on the manufacturer market.

Alfanar stands to take over wind OEM Senvion's Indian subsidiary. The Saudi contractor thereby acquires production facilities of 250 MW in annual capacity and a product line of wind turbines with rates of 2-2.6 MW as well as a minor service business, writes Indian media Hindu Businessline.
