LM Wind Power hires 250

The staff count at the factory building blades for GE's Haliade-X offshore wind turbines will be almost doubled ahead of early 2021.

In the coming years, GE will install the first gigawatts of its latest offshore wind turbine model, Haliade-X. Blades for the machine will largely be made at LM Wind Power's factory in Cherbourg, France, resulting in a personnel expansion. Up to the first quarter of 2021, the current staff head count of 300 will swell with an additional 250 colleagues, GE informs in a statement.
