Siemens Gamesa threatened with junk rating after sacking CEO

While rating agency mulls downgrading the turbine maker to 'junk' due to weakened financials and persisting corona troubles, trade unions warn of potential layoffs.

Siemens Gamesa is being closely monitored from several sides these days. After the third downgrade of its full-year guidance, which last week made the wind turbine manufacturer fire Chief Executive Markus Tacke, rating agency Moody's as well as several Spanish trade unions voice their concerns, although of differing nature.
