Japan launches small offshore wind tender

Goto Island is not the name of a North Atlantic volcanic island but rather a 21 MW floating wind project that the Japanese government is now tendering.

Wednesday, the Japanese government launched a tender for a small floating offshore wind project to kick-start the first of several projects designed to expand the country's supply of offshore wind energy, writes Recharge News.
