Iberdrola to invest EUR 10bn a year

The Spanish utility will bet heavily on renewables in the coming years, in which the company will focus on efforts including US offshore wind.

Iberdrola, one of the world's largest wind farm owners, plans to invest EUR 10 billion in renewable energy per year, which is close to double the roughly EUR 5-6 billion average of recent years, writes Financial Times citing comments by Iberdrola Chief Executive Ignacio Galán.
