Vestas bags order for 166 MW in Poland

The turbine maker gets order for major wind farm where competitor was previously named supplier, passing a gigawatt in order intake from recent years' Polish tenders.

With two new orders, Vestas secures more than 1 GW from the two Polish tenders of 2018 and 2019. The wind turbine manufacturer will supply six turbines of the type V126-3.45 MW to wind farm Debnica Kazubska as well as another 42 to Bialy Bor. Besides delivery, installation and operationalization, a 20-year service contract, type AOM 5000, was also signed, Vestas announces.
