CIP funds 487 MW Spanish onshore wind with PPA
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has signed a PPA on 487 MW sourced from 12 plants in Spain part of the Monegros cluster, which is to be ready in 12 months. The developer has also secured financing through green loans.
The first few of a total 129 GE 3.8-130 wind turbines have already started spinning on the Spanish plains in Aragon, and now Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has secured financing through one of the world's largest power purchase agreements (PPAs) and the biggest one within zero-subsidy onshore wind.
