Equinor to build floating wind farm of 800 MW in 2023

The Norwegian oil firm plans to build a floating wind farm of 800 MW in South Korea. The plant, to be named Firefly, will be nearly 30 times the size of the world's currently largest floating wind farm, once ready in 2026.

Equinor's first floating wind farm was Hywind Scotland of 30 MW, which was completed in 2017. The next one is Hywind Tampen in Norway of 88 MW, to be ready in 2022.
