Vestas became regional champion in corona quarter

With 1.9 GW in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Vestas sold more wind turbines than any other manufacturer in any region. Globally, 14 GW were ordered for a value exceeding USD 13 billion in the first quarter, when the expected downturn on the Chinese market saw its beginnings.

In a first quarter marked by the coronavirus, the wind market lost a bit of traction, declining by 7 percent measured in capacity compared to last year's record capital.
