RWE and Mitsubishi buy US floating wind project

The development might not quite match the scale of other offshore wind projects along the US Eastern Seaboard, but the University of Maine's protracted efforts to establish a floating wind turbine now appear to be manifesting. Joint venture New England Aqua Ventus, consisting of German utility RWE and Japan's Mitsubishi, expects the installation to reach completion in 2023, the University of Maine (UMaine) informs on its news website.
