Belgium's Deme secures record cable contract

Owners of world's largest offshore wind project award EPC contract on delivery and installation of 650-kilometer cable.

Deme Group has received a quite impressive order. The Belgian company is to design, procure, establish and install the array cables of Equinor's and SSE's 2.4-GW offshore wind project Dogger Bank A and B in the UK. The order thereby entails delivery of approximately 650 kilometers of cables – roughly corresponding to the distance between Munich and Paris – Deme announces.
