Equinor moves to double offshore wind farms with lease deal

The UK continues to make new advances toward expanding its offshore wind capacity. This applies, not least, to the site licenses that are now beginning to be issued following the habitats regulation assessment (HRA) compiled by the Crown Estate last year in an effort to explore possibilities for extending existing wind facilities. Most recently, permits have been issued to build out Sheringham Shoal and Dudgeon off the coast of Norfolk, Eastern England.
