Siemens Gamesa bags US order for 5-MW platform

The turbine maker secures an order for 325 MW in the US.

Siemens Gamesa has received an order for 325 MW from Texas, entailing SG 5.0-145 wind turbines, which are expected to be installed before the end of 2021. Besides delivery and installation of the 65 units of the company's 5-MW platform, a service agreement spanning several years was also signed, the wind turbine manufacturer informs the Spanish stock exchange.
