Sweden and Norway enter agreement to halt wind and solar subsidy

The Norwegian and Swedish governments have agreed on a deal to stop their certificate schemes providing subsidy for wind and solar energy.

After a few months of talks and negotiations, the Norwegian and Swedish governments have found common ground on the matter of halting subsidies for renewable energy, their so-called certificate system, Norway's government writes in a report on Friday's meeting of ministers, where this subject was on the agenda.
