Vestas eyes great potential in challenging Indian market
Although India as a wind market has gone up and down, the nation's current ambitions are so high that Vestas is dialing up its investments in the form of both factories and a new turbine specially designed for the country.
Yesterday, wind turbine manufacturer Vestas presented a new platform, the model V155-3.3MW, with plans for the turbine to sweep away competitors on the Indian market, which is facing a huge wind build-out.
