Siemens Energy, Afghanistan sign energy development deal

Siemens Energy has signed a three-phase plan to help strengthen Afghanistan's electrical network and develop renewable energy.

The German energy group has entered an agreement with Afghanistan to equip the country as a Central Asian energy hub, to be accomplished by developing a modern, sustainable and cost-efficient energy system focusing on renewables, Siemens Energy informs in a press release.
