New wind plans require far more offshore wind service vessels

Twice as many wind turbines will need to be installed at sea over the next many years, and this will require significantly more offshore wind service vessels to handle the installations, writes Clarksons Platou in a new analysis.

Twice as many offshore wind turbines must be installed per year if the EU is to realize its new capacity target of more than 60 GW by 2030 at the latest, writes analyst firm Clarksons Platou.
