Vestas launches investment platform eying power storage and PtX

By establishing Vestas Ventures, the wind turbine manufacturer aims for early entry in startups working on sustainable energy products.

Three years back, Vestas invested in Swedish battery company Northvolt. The timing was a fine fit with the OEM's focus shift from only playing on the wind power field to pursuing a broader business model within sustainable energy.
