Lost blade behind Vestas turbine collapse

Despite faulty blades on two other units of the same type within scant months, the wind turbine maker holds that there is no correlation.

A snowplow driver clearing the area by Swedish wind farm Albyrderberget on the morning of Nov. 22 stumbled upon a white mass that wasn't readily movable. As it turned out, this was one of the farm's V150-4.2MW turbines lying collapsed and broken on the ground.
