MHI rejects Siemens takeover talks

Vestas's Japanese co-owner says it has already announced its wind power strategy in a response to rumors of a possible Siemens Gamesa acquisition.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) is not on its way to switch bets on wind turbine manufacturer. The Japanese industrial group and now-former Vestas joint venture partner discloses that it's not in the process of taking over Siemens Gamesa, MHI tells Reuters.
