Ørsted joins major investment supporting US offshore wind

Foundation production is set to begin in New Jersey next month with deliveries expected from 2023.

Next month, work to establish the US offshore wind sector's hitherto largest production facility will begin. German foundation maker EEW has decided to set up a monopile production plant at the Port of Paulsboro, New Jersey. Breaking ground at the 250 million-dollar project will take place in January, with production starting in 2023.
