GE wins order from Vietnam

While external stakeholders attempt to persuade Vietnam's government to drop planned subsidy cuts, GE manages to secure an order before the shop closes.

A consortium led by Powerchina has given GE Renewable Energy a supply deal for a project in Vietnam. The wind turbine manufacturer will deliver, install and commission eight model 3MW-137 units at the Phuoc Minh project in the Ninh Thuan province in the central part of the country, GE informs in a statement.
