Statkraft nominates Vestas for GE projects

The Danish wind turbine maker receives orders for two projects in Ireland that until earlier this year were co-owned the OEM's US-based rival.

Vestas has secured an auction win for developments in Ireland. Wind turbines with a combined capacity of 63 MW will be installed at two projects owned by Norwegian utility Statkraft, Vestas informs in a statement Monday.
