Researcher says bifacial solar will happen on large scale

A two-year project is coming to an end, and work on bifacial photovoltaic panels has provided crucial experience for the industry.

Two years ago, project developer European Energy and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) started a collaboration. Backed by Denmark's Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program (EUDP), they would study how to create the optimal framework for so-called bifacial solar panels in a pilot project on peninsula Risø in Eastern Denmark.
