Siemens Gamesa and its majority shareholder, Siemens Energy, are launching a joint project to develop an integrated hydrogen production system for an offshore wind turbine, here the OEM's most high-powered offering, the model SG 14-222 DD.
The partners plan to invest EUR 120 million in the project over the next five years, the two companies write in a joint press release:
