Welcon eyes tower deliveries to US east coast

Following Equinor's victory in a US offshore wind tender, Danish tower manufacturer Welcon is set to establish production in the country.

It's no secret that Danish wind turbine tower maker Welcon had a lot to gain from a successful bid from Norway's Equinor during New York State's offshore wind tender. And Equinor did end up drawing the longest straw among competitors, securing 2.5 GW.
