Horns Rev 2 hits 10bn kWh

Since 2009, Ørsted's offshore wind farm Horns Rev 2 and its 91 turbines have supplied wind energy contributing 3 percent of the total power consumption in Denmark.

It has some years behind it at this point but still manages to surprise: Ørsted's Horns Rev 2 Offshore Wind Farm has just surpassed expectations with a total generation of 10 billion kWh, the utility informs in a statement.
