Ørsted to conquer neglected home market

The Baltic Sea can provide the basis for a lot of offshore wind as well as hybrid projects, says Ørsted SVP after the establishment of a 2.5-GW joint venture in Poland. He leaves it to politicians to decide whether the nation will be part of the Danish energy island.

Utility Ørsted has installed more offshore wind than any other company in the North Sea. The same technically applies to both the Taiwan Strait and the Atlantic Ocean offshore of the US Eastern Seaboard.
