SSE, Acciona want to enter Iberian offshore wind

The British utility has formed a joint venture with the Spanish project developer on wind farms offshore of Spain and Portugal.

An outline of Europe's next offshore wind market is starting to form: SSE Renewables and Acciona have entered an agreement to establish an equally divided joint venture targeting the dawning markets in Spain and Portugal. Through this venture, the parties mean to make use of their respective strengths within development and operation of offshore wind farms and in market knowledge.
