Equinor officially joins the race in Polish offshore wind

Alongside Polenergia, the Norwegian oil firm aims to achieve subsidies for two offshore wind farms in Poland's forthcoming tender.

At the end of 2020, Poland's president signed offshore wind legislation paving the way for the establishment of 10.9 GW before 2033.

But there will already be 5.9 GW up for grabs this year, in the coming tender slated for late June 2021.
