Danish TSO kicks off contract allocations for two energy isles

Energinet nominates companies Fugro and MMT to carry out seabed assessments in the North Sea, while Rambøll is hired to designate possible subsea cable routes through Baltic Sea waters.

With its timetable already under pressure, Danish transmission system operator Energinet is now beginning to dish out the first batch of important contracts for the country's two forthcoming energy islands, one in the North Sea and the other in the Baltic near outlying island Bornholm.
