Siemens Gamesa to equip largest wind farm in Peru

"Key customer" unlocks new market for the turbine maker, which will add two thirds to the country's existing capacity.

Engie has once again opted for Siemens Gamesa to supply one of its South American projects. The wind turbine manufacturer is set to deliver 50 units of the type SG 5.0-145 to project Punta Lomitas of 250 MW in southern Peruvian region Ica.
