Nordex reports declining order intake

The German turbine maker bagged orders for about a quarter less than announced in the first three months of last year.

The Delta4000 series is by now the dominant platform for Nordex. The positive news regarding the wind turbine manufacturer's first quarter is that the platform's success continues, with especially the N149'er having reached many markets. In the first three months of the year, 73 percent of Nordex' order intake were for the Delta units, while the remaining orders were placed for smaller turbines of the 3-MW platform.
