Vestas sells wind farm in the US

The OEM's US development unit sells a project, already prepared to host larger wind turbines, to the US' second-largest power utility.

Through its North American development subsidiary, Steelhead Americas, Vestas carries out yet another wind farm divestment. Southern Power, owned by the US' second-larger power company, Southern Company, buys the 118-MW Glass Sands Wind project.
