Equinor checks off first phase of Hywind Tampen
The substructures of the floating wind project are ready and now set for slip-forming. Towage is expected to commence next summer, states the Norwegian oil company.
Aker Solutions has completed the 11 substructures to be used for floating wind farm Hywind Tampen. Construction was carried out in a dry dock at Aker Solutions' yard in Stord, Norway, and finished earlier this week, the involved parties confirm on Thursday.
