NKT lays plans to conquer the US from Scandinavia

The Danish cable manufacturer's big investment in expanding its German and Swedish factories is also taking place with a view to setting up production beyond Europe, including the US, where the first offshore wind farm set to use HVDC lines is being planned.

NKT's performance is better now than it has been a for while. Even so, the Danish cable manufacturer still has idle production capacity at its factories and could execute further orders this year, but several things do indicate that the company is moving toward a brighter period.
