Siemens Gamesa expands lead in small growth market

Wind farm Balaoi & Caunayan is set to become the largest in three senses. The 160-MW project, which has just entered construction phase, will become the biggest wind farm in the Philippines. The turbines, with capacities averaging at 5 MW, will also be the largest ones in the Southeast Asian country. Finally, the project expands Siemens Gamesa's role as the biggest wind turbine manufacturer on the small growth market.
