Flex Wind, a Danish group offering wind turbine installation and maintenance service, has sold some company interest to compatriot investment company BS Equity, which specializes in owning small and medium-sized businesses with growth potential.
"This is a perfect match for Flex Wind. BS Equity has the same values and wants to do business in the same way we've always done. I'm very satisfied – and I look very much forward to future cooperation with the new partner, BS Equity," says Flex Wind Chief Executive Jens Nygaard.
Flex Wind is headquartered in Give, Denmark, but has offices in Poland, Brazil and Argentina. Launched as Total Wind in 2003, the company rebranded to its current name in 2017.
The company was founded by CEO Nygaard, who once worked as a technician for Vestas.
"We are proud to be a part of this partnership with the current owners of Flex Wind. We're impressed by the development Flex Wind has undergone in recent years – and not least by the competencies present throughout he organization," says BS Equity CEO Søren Birn.
