Nordex receives big order from Brazil

The German OEM is hired to supply 55 turbines to wind project Cajuína in Brazil.

Nordex has won a supply contract for 313.5 MW in Brazil, the manufacturer writes in a statement on Thursday morning.

The customer, AES Brazil, has ordered the machines for wind project Cajuína planned to consist of 55 model N163/5.X units in optimized 5.7 MW versions.

The deal also entails a 5-year service agreement with an option to extend by another 20 years.

Installation is set to commence in the summer of 2022.
