Vestas wins 105 MW order in Spain

Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas sells 23 machines to Iberdrola.

Biocantaber, owned by Iberdrola and Ocyener, has placed an 105 MW order with turbine manufacturer Vestas for its wind farm El Escudo.

The contract includes supply and installation of 23 wind turbines of the V136-4.2 MW variety and two of V117-4.2 MW models, Vestas announced Tuesday.

Delivery is set for the second half of 2022.
