Shell and EDF see Vestas as best option for 1.5 GW

The biggest winner in New Jersey's second offshore wind tender was Shell and EDF's joint venture, Atlantic Shores, which secured the pair 1.510 GW out the 2.658 GW total New Jersey allocated Wednesday – a continuation for Shell, which secured its first 804 MW from Massachusetts last year alongside EDPR/Engie. Yesterday's win marks the market debut for the French power company.
