Centrica Energy Trading signs first Italian PPA

The Danish power trader enters the Italian market by agreeing to buy offtake from two of Canadian Solar's forthcoming photovoltaic farms.

Last autumn, Centrica Energy Trading revealed plans to bank more heavily on its power purchase agreement business in step with energy trading becoming more volatile due to developments within hydrogen and energy storage technology.
