Scotland's largest offshore wind farm to sell power in small volumes

TotalEnergies and SSE mean to enable smaller companies to enter power purchase agreements for fractions of 1.14GW offshore wind farm Seagreen.

Although the offshore wind farm will be Scotland's largest, it's not too large to sell power in smaller volumes.

Seagreen Wind Energy will offer an alternative to usually long-term corporate power purchase agreements (cPPAs). It is tradition for cPPAs to stretch over a duration of ten years or more, but the company now means to change that, according to a statement first reported on by Offshorewind.biz.
