RE investments hit record level in 2021's first half

A total USD 174bn were invested in green energy sources during the first half of 2021. While more money went to solar than ever before, investments in wind farms declined by nearly a third.

Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) reports there has never before been such heavy investment in renewable energy in the first half of any year.
